HOTEL JUGOSLAVIJA
Hotel Jugoslavija is a historic hotel located on the bank of the Danube River. The hotel was built in 1969 and was one of the largest and most prestigious hotels in Yugoslavia. It was a popular destination for both domestic and international tourists and hosted many famous guests, including world leaders, celebrities, and artists.
During the wars in Yugoslavia in the 1990s, Hotel Jugoslavija was heavily damaged and abandoned. The hotel was “among top 5 largest and most beautiful hotels in Europe.” It was closed for visitors, but one half of the hotel was reopened in 2013 in the form of three-star hotel.
